OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 update for the OnePlus 10T in the Indian region, gradually reaching users in batches. This update brings in significant improvements aimed at enhancing the overall user experience.
The key highlights of this update include the integration of the January 2024 Android security patch, which fixes a total of 58 vulnerabilities in the Android platform, with 10 security holes in the Framework and System components, all rated high severity.
A notable improvement is that the battery will last longer in specific situations, so users can use their OnePlus 10T for a more extended period on a single charge. As part of the update, the Background stream feature in Smart Sidebar has been removed, making the interface simpler for easier use.
On the app side, a specific problem has been fixed where the screen might turn white when opening the “Theme Store.” This fix ensures a smooth experience when customizing themes without any issues.
As usual, OnePlus is releasing this update gradually. It will first reach a small percentage of users in the Indian region and then expand to more users in the coming days. Users can also manually check for the availability of the update on their devices by navigating to Settings > About > Tap Version > Check for Updates.
