The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is a China-exclusive smartphone. It was launched in May 2022.

Despite being nearly 2 years old, the device is still on sale. Lately, retailers are clearing the stock by offering heavy discounts on this phone.

Just last month, there was an insane deal on it. Weeks later, a similar deal has gone live now.

The 12GB + 256GB variant of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is currently available at just ¥1,169 (~$165) in China. For comparison, the same variant of the handset was even cheaper at ¥1,139 (~$160) during last month’s deal.

Originally, the device retails at ¥2,499. JD (Jingdong) is offering a flat ¥1,300 discount and a ¥30 discount coupon.

For just $165, Chinese consumers get a smartphone powered by a MediaTek Dimesnity 8100 Max SoC. This chip is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

On the front, the handset sports a 6.59-inch display with a punch hole at the top left corner. The LCD panel offers a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The back of the phone features a triple camera system comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, there’s a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Other features include a VC liquid cooling system, dual stereo speakers, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Last but not least, the smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging.

Alternatively, customers can opt for the Redmi Note 12T Pro, which is also available at around the same price for a similar set of features.
