The Redmi Note 12T Pro is a China-exclusive smartphone. It was announced at the end of May 2024.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensiy 8200-Ultra chipset. Therefore, it is the second-most powerful model in the Redmi Note 12 lineup after the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 SoC.
Ahead of the Chinese New Year, the phone is heavily discounted right now.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro carries an official price tag of ¥1,799 (~$250) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant.
JD (Jingdong) is offering a flat ¥500 (~$70) discount. Additionally, buyers can apply a ¥50 (~$5) discount coupon. Thus, the effective price of the handset comes down to ¥1,249 (~$175).
For under $200, Chinese consumers are getting a more value-for-money smartphone than consumers in other markets.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro flaunts a 6.6-inch centered punch-hole display. The LCD panel offers a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 650 nits peak brightness level. The screen also supports Dolby Vision content.
