The Honor 90 5G has officially received support for Reliance Jio eSIMs. The CEO of HTech, Madhav Sheth, confirmed the telecom operator’s eSIM connectivity for this smartphone model. So here are all the details.

The senior executive revealed that the Chinese smartphone maker is rolling out eSIM connectivity for the Honor 90 on his official X account (formerly Twitter). Looking at the tweet, the CEO shared screenshots that revealed support for Reliance Jio eSIM. These screenshots also confirm that the eSIM can be used along with the physical SIM card. The device is confirmed to support 5G network on the eSIM connection.

Madhav Sheth further added that they will be collaborating with other network providers in the region in the upcoming months. So we can expect other eSIM support arriving for other major telecom operators as well. The support for eSIM also arrives months after the Honor 90’s India launch. To recall, the Honor 90 5G sports a tall 6.7-inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution, 1,600nits of peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The rear packs a 200-megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this model, which also supports 66W wired fast charging. Other notable features include 193 grams in weight, a slim 7.8mm body, Bluetooth 5.2, an in-display fingerprint scanner, GPS, and stereo speakers.
