Samsung recently hosted the Galaxy Unpacked event where it unveiled the Galaxy S24 series and the latest Galaxy Book 4 series for its home market. Now, it appears that a new tablet model is also in the works, which could be the successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

New Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite successor visits GeekBench

The South Korean tech giant may be working on a new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite series model. A GeekBench listing (Spotted by 91Mobiles) revealed an unnamed Galaxy Tab carrying the SM-P620 model number. To recall, a previous iteration of the Tab S6 Lite had the SM-P610 model number. On the benchmarking platform, the upcoming tablet was spotted running the Exynos 1280 SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM.

The device was listed running on the Android 14 OS out of the box. Looking at the scores, the SM-P620 scores 930 points in the single core test and 1840 points in the multi core test. Unfortunately, no finer details were shared regarding the successor Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. In the past, Samsung had refreshed the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition. So, the latest sighting likely implies a 2024 edition.

For those unaware, the Lite versions of the Galaxy Tab are more affordable than the flagship lineups. These budget tablets are also usually priced below 500 US Dollars. It is worth noting that this is still just speculation at this point and no official announcement has been shared. So stick around for more as we will provide an update when additional information is available regarding this tablet.
