Xiaomi is rolling out a significant update for its Xiaomi Pad 6 in India, transitioning the device to its new Android 14-based HyperOS operating system.

Xiaomi Pad 6 series

The HyperOS update represents the first of three major system updates promised for the Xiaomi Pad 6, with the company also committing to five years of security patches. This move reflects Xiaomi’s dedication to long-term device support and security.

Key Features of the HyperOS Update:

  1. Latest Android 14 Platform: The update brings the Xiaomi Pad 6 up to speed with the latest Android 14 version, ensuring users have access to the newest features and security enhancements. Included in this rollout is the December 2023 security patch.
  2. Enhanced User Interface: Users will notice a fresh look with aesthetic improvements in the user interface, showcasing new colors and animations. This visual revamp aims to enhance the user experience with a more intuitive and vibrant interface.
