Honor confirms MWC event

Honor will be hosting its event on February 25 at 2 pm local time. The brand has confirmed that it will announce the Magic 6 series smartphones and the Magic V2 RSR foldable phones at the event. The Honor Magic 6 series comprises the standard and pro models. There’s also the Magic 6 Lite that is available in a few global markets. It is not expected to tag along with the other variants.

Both the Honor Magic 6 series and the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design have debuted in China earlier this month. Hence, the global variants are expected to come with the same specifications.

The Honor Magic 6 duo are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. They boast a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with LTPO and 1,800 nits peak brightness. The phones sport a circular camera module with the Pro model featuring a 180MP periscope lens and a variable aperture.

As for the Magic V2 RSR, it is a product of collaboration between Honor and Porsche. It features an aerodynamic body island with a sleek sliding side window. The external screen glass from Porsche Design now features a silicon nitride coating, enhancing scratch and drop resistance. The core specifications of the Magic V2 RSR are the same as the standard model.
