Realme 12 Pro Series China Launch Teaser

The Realme 12 Pro series is scheduled to debut in China in February. The brand is yet to disclose the launch date, which we think should be out in the next few days.

The lineup consists of two smartphones, namely Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. The latter is the only handset in its segment to offer a flagship-grade primary camera and a periscope telephoto camera.

Both devices are built around a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole curved OLED display. This 10-bit panel comes with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and 950 nits peak brightness level.

The Pro houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the Pro Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Both of them ship with Realme UI 5.0 software based on Android 14.

The camera setup on Realme 12 Pro includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor with a 2x telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 16MP selfie camera. Whereas the Realme 12 Pro Plus arrives with a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3x periscope telephoto shooter, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 32MP front-facing camera.

The duo comes with dual stereo speakers and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Last but not least, they draw energy from a 5,000mAh battery and support 67W wired charging.
