As per reports, the Realme GT Neo 6 could be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphone in the Chinese market. It is speculated that the device may arrive with a starting price of 2,000 Yuan (~$280). This will allow the GT Neo 6 to compete with the other SD8G2 phones, such as the Redmi K70, the iQOO Neo 9, the Honor 90 GT, and the OnePlus Ace 3.

As per tipster Smart Pikachu, the Realme GT Neo 6’s engineering prototype is equipped with 24 GB of RAM. This strongly indicates that the final product may also come equipped with this substantial amount of RAM. Other reports suggest the Realme GT Neo 6 will have an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a durable metal middle frame. The other details of the smartphone are yet to be revealed.

In related news, Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 12 Pro series of smartphones in the global market. As per reports, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, which are scheduled to launch on Jan. 29, will come equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 7s Gen 2 chipsets, respectively.

Realme is yet to confirm the Realme 12 Pro series’ launch date for the Chinese market. Hence, it appears that the 12 Pro and 12 Pro may go official in February in China, while the GT Neo 6 may launch in the following month.
