Xiaomi has long been rumored to be working on its first ever flip folding smartphone. The device in question may be dubbed the Mix Flip, and now, a fresh leak has revealed certain specs and features regarding this model. So let’s have a look.
Xiaomi Mix Flip Specs
The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming flip phone may offer flagship grade specs and features, according to known tipster Digital Chat Station. In a Weibo post, he claimed that the Mix Flip will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is a high end processor. Furthermore, it may even come with support for satellite communication. This is a feature that is often found in premium grade handsets and this is also in line with one of our previous reports.
The company has yet to reveal any official details regarding the upcoming clamshell folding device. Although, previous rumors had hinted at the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead of the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Digital Chat Station added that the front and rear design along with the camera specs are a highlight aspect of the new flip phone. But unfortunately, no other finer details regarding these were shared.
It is still unclear exactly when the Mix Flip will be officially released. However, the Xiaomi Mix Flip cold debut alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The latter is rumored to be unveiled in China by the end of next month. So the Mix Flip may launch in February as well.
