OnePlus has launched a new update for its OnePlus Nord CE 5G smartphone for users in the Indian region. This update, known as OxygenOS 13 F.54, brings the latest February 2024 Android security patch, aiming to improve the device’s system security.
The update, identified by firmware version EB2101_11.F.54, is being incrementally rolled out. A small group of users will receive it starting today, with a broader rollout expected to commence in the coming days. OnePlus emphasizes this gradual approach to ensure stability and efficiency in the update process.
Interestingly, this update also sees the removal of the Background stream feature in the Smart sidebar, aligning with OnePlus’s efforts to refine the user experience.
As for the OnePlus Nord CE itself, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. It boasts a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate. The device comes with up to 12GB RAM and a maximum of 256GB internal storage, catering to various user needs from basic to intensive usage.
The Nord CE is supported by a 4500mAh battery. Camera-wise, it features a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor and a 16MP front camera for selfies, providing users with a capable photography experience.
