Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, which was initially launched in China last August, is now gearing up for a global release, likely at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month.

The fitness tracker offers a smartwatch-like design with features familiar to fitness tracker users. Ahead of its official global launch, Sudhanshu Ambhore, a reliable tipster through Appuals, has shared details about the pricing of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro in Europe.

According to the leak, the official price for the Band 8 Pro in Europe will be EUR 89. However, depending on promotions and local taxes, retailers might offer it for as low as EUR 69.

This is good news for consumers, considering that Xiaomi launched the Band 7 Pro for EUR 99. The fact that the iterative upgrade is priced lower will likely be well-received by buyers.

When it comes to color options, the company will be offering the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro in Black and Silver.

Specifications

The Band 8 Pro has a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness. It is water-resistant up to 5 meters.
