Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi A3, an entry-level smartphone, in India. Information provided by 91Mobiles Hindi, courtesy of tipster Paras Guglani, suggests that the base variant of the Redmi A3 will be priced under Rs 7,000, and a higher-end variant is expected to come in under Rs 9,000.

The design and specifications of the Redmi A3 had previously been leaked, and a recent report also revealed a live image of the device boasting a shiny, glass-like back. The device is expected to feature a waterdrop-style notch and thin bezels on the top and sides. It is set to be available in three color options: Green, Blue, and Black. The back of the phone is expected to have a circular camera module housing dual cameras and an LED flash.

The display is expected to measure 6.71 inches and use LCD technology, giving it access to 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness. The leaked retail packaging images indicate a higher-end model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additional expected features of the Redmi A3 include a MediaTek chipset, a 13MP primary camera accompanied by an AI lens, an 8MP front camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging, and Android 13 Go Edition as the operating system.

As of now, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these details. More information is expected to be released by Xiaomi, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
