Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its latest Xiaomi 14 series smartphone globally at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month. Alongside the new phones, the company will also introduce the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro which was launched in China in August last year. However, ahead of its official debut, the fitness tracker is already available for purchase in Europe.

You can buy it through a third-party e-commerce store in Slovakia called maldo where it is priced at EUR 89. You can place an order now, delivery is said to be within 3-5 days. The listing also specifies a warranty of 24 months.

Furthermore, the product description clearly shows that it’s a global variant “intended for the European markets.” The specs are similar to that of the Chinese model though.

Although a fitness tracker, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro has a sleek smartwatch-like design. There is a 1.74-inch square-ish AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Additionally, it is water-resistant up to 5 meters.

In terms of fitness and wellness capabilities, the Band 8 Pro offers all the basic tracking features such as heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracking, menstrual cycle monitoring, and stress level tracking.

You also get support for over 150 sports modes and a somatosensory sensor for boxing-related data.

Moreover, the device has a built-in GNSS chip that supports multiple satellite systems which should help for accurate route tracking. It also features a built-in voice assistant and can serve as a control hub for other Xiaomi smart devices.

Beyond fitness tracking, the Band 8 Pro includes basic utilities features such as camera and music control, a flashlight, weather updates, and notifications. Keeping things powered is a 297mAh battery which Xiaomi claims can provide a battery life of up to 14 days on a single charge.
