Xiaomi has added a new product to its Youpin crowdfunding platform – the Mijia Handheld Garment Steamer 2. The device is designed to streamline the process of removing wrinkles from your clothes.
The crowdfunding campaign will launch on February 21st with a special price of 109 yuan, with the regular retail price set at 149 yuan. Let’s get into its details here.

Designed for portability and ease of use, the Mijia Handheld Garment Steamer 2 weighs only 730 grams and features a foldable design for convenient storage.
It boasts an aluminum panel with a ceramic glaze coating that heats rapidly and maintains a consistent temperature. And there’s a 30kPa pressurization technology that delivers powerful steam to penetrate fabrics and remove stubborn wrinkles without getting clothes wet.
This allows users to quickly smooth out wrinkles with a few gentle strokes, according to Xiaomi. Plus, the design prevents watermarks, ensuring your garments look their best. Xiaomi says that the steamer works effectively on various fabrics, including delicate silk and heavy linens.
Users will also appreciate the fast 26-second preheating time for near-instant steam and a button-activated steam release for precision.
The Mijia Handheld Garment Steamer 2 offers both vertical (hanging) and horizontal (flat) ironing modes, enhancing its usefulness across different types of clothing.
It has a 160mL water tank which allows you to up to six shirts in one ironing session. An added bonus – Xiaomi states that the steamer eliminates 99.99% of bacteria and mites, boosting garment hygiene.
