Xiaomi is gearing up for power-packed next few days. The brand is set to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship along with the Pad 6S Pro tablet in China on February 22. Additionally, Xiaomi has also confirmed its presence at the MWC 2024 where it will announce the Xiaomi 14 series, SUV 7 Car, and more devices next week. Now, the company has officially announced the launch date of the flagship Xiaomi 14 in the Indian market. 

Xiaomi 14 India launch date 

The Xiaomi 14 (review) is arriving in India just a few days after its global debut at MWC. The company announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle that the upcoming flagship will launch in the country on March 7, Thursday. It seems that Xiaomi is only bringing the standard variant to India as the teaser poster does not mention the Xiaomi 14 Series. Previously, it was reported that the brand won’t release the Pro variant globally. Additionally, this is backed by the anticipated global launch of the top-tier flagship, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Notably, it has also bagged BIS certification. 

The Indian and global variant of the Xiaomi 14 is expected to come with the same specifications as the China variant. The device debuted in its home country last December. It is a compact flagship with a boxy design, a protruding square camera island, and an IP68 rating. The smartphone has a 1.5K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 3,000 nits peak brightness. 

Internally, the Xiaomi 14 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and backed by a 4,610mAh battery unit with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the optics front, it features three 50MP Leica-branded cameras.
