Just yesterday, OnePlus teased the arrival of its second-generation smartwatch. Now, the brand’s India branch has officially confirmed a host of details about the wearable device including its name, launch date, and more. OnePlus looks all set to make a comeback in the smartwatch market after nearly a three-year hiatus.
OnePlus Watch 2 launch date confirmed, key details teased
The OnePlus Watch 2 is set to launch in India on February 26 at 8:30 pm IST. The global launch is also happening on the same day in the US at 10 am EST. Interested customers in India can purchase a pre-reserve pass at Rs 99 and get a guaranteed Rs 1,000 discount along with free Bullets Wireless Z2 ANC on the Watch 2. The early bird coupon and trade-in program is also available for US buyers which can be checked here.
The OnePlus Watch 2 looks similar to the leaked renders. It has a protrusion on the right side housing a rotating crown and a physical button. The smartwatch is confirmed to sport a stainless steel unibody and sapphire crystal protection for a premium finish. It will be offered in Black Steel and Radiant Steel colors. The upcoming offering seems to have a thick casing. OnePlus is also promising a long battery life. It is rated to last 100 hours in smart mode.
