In October 2023, Vivo unveiled the Vivo Y200 5G, equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip, in India. The device is currently selling for Rs 23,999 (~$289) on Vivo India’s official website. Interestingly, the brand has now unveiled the Vivo Y200e 5G with the newer Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip onboard. It carries a starting price of Rs 19,999 (~$240). Vivo Y200e 5G specifications and features
The Vivo Y200e 5G has a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a centrally positioned punch-hole. It offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 394ppi pixel density, a peak brightness of 1200 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. For audiophiles, the device is equipped with dual speakers.
On the front, the Vivo Y200e 5G has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel bokeh lens, a flicker sensor, and an LED flash. The device comes preloaded with FunTouch OS 14, based on Android 14.
The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2-powered device ships with 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 8 GB of virtual RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
On the connectivity front, the device offers options, such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB-C port. The Vivo Y200e 5G comes in two options, such as 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. Both variants are priced at Rs 19,999 (~$241) and Rs 20,999 (~$252). It comes in two shades, such as Black Diamond and Saffron Orange.
The Y200e 5G is now available for pre-orders via the Vivo India website, Flipkart, and offline stores in India. It will be up for purchase starting Feb. 27.
