Nubia is gearing up to launch its latest innovation, the Nubia Pad 3D II, following the footsteps of its original 3D tablet. The launch is scheduled for February 26th at MWC 2024, as confirmed by the company through a teaser on Weibo.

The teaser proclaims the Nubia Pad 3D II as the “world’s first 5G+ AI naked eye 3D tablet.” This confirms 5G connectivity for the tablet along with the ability to enjoy 3D content without the need for special glasses or equipment.

Moreover, the emphasis on AI suggests the device will have artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance the 3D viewing experience.

The teaser poster also showcases the tablet’s sleek, grey design, complete with dual rear cameras, dual front cameras, LED flash, and a USB Type-C port. However, other specifications are up in the air for the moment.

To recap the specifications of Nubia’s first 3D tablet, the Nubia Pad 3D features a 12.4-inch IPS LCD with 2560x1600px resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

It utilizes a proprietary DLB layer developed by Leia Inc. for its Leia 3D Lightfield mode, enabling real-time conversion of 2D content to 3D.
