Huawei has begun rolling out an update for its Watch GT 3 Pro smartwatch, introducing Harmony OS 4 globally. This new update, version 4.0.0.111(C00M07), comes with several improvements aimed at delivering a better user experience. Key features of this update include a refined user interface, allowing users to easily see app names in the app grid by zooming in with the rotating crown, and a new touch protection feature to prevent accidental inputs during workouts.
The update also allows for greater customization of workout data displays and introduces an Enable Screen feature, which turns on the screen when notifications are received. These changes are designed to make the smartwatch more user-friendly and efficient.
In addition to interface improvements, the update enhances the smartwatch’s performance with clearer text, quicker access to notifications, and an improved always-on display that shows more information. Alarm functionality and the accuracy of training data have also been upgraded. The update is quite large, at 157 MB, and Huawei recommends that users update their Huawei Health app to the latest version before installing the new firmware.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 series is also receiving new software, although with a different changelog, but the same version number as the GT 3 Pro’s update.
