With the Galaxy S24 series having been out for some time now, it’s about time for Samsung to update several smartphones in its Galaxy A-series. 

One such device is the Galaxy A35 5G, which has undergone certification processes in various countries, hinting at its imminent launch. 

Adding to this, the smartphone has recently received certification from Malaysia’s SIRIM, paving the way for its release in Malaysia.

The SIRIM listing reveals the model number smartphone model number as SM-A356E and the approval date of February 23rd, 2024.  While the listing itself doesn’t disclose specifications, its appearance following other certifications strongly hints at an upcoming release.

As for the Galaxy A35 specifications, it is expected to be equipped with an Exynos 1380 chip, as suggested by the Google Play Console listing. It will run on Samsung’s custom One UI 6.0 interface based on the latest Android 14 operating system.

Display-wise, rumors point to a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution offering a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.

The smartphone may come in three color options — icy blue, lilac, and navy blue, catering to various aesthetic preferences.

As for the cameras, it’s expected to house a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors on the rear, with a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Furthermore, the device is rumored to pack a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support, as indicated by an FCC listing.
