Infinix has just revealed the launch date for the Infinix Smart 8 Plus. The budget device was first announced last month, but its release date was still unclear. Now, the brand has confirmed that the smartphone is arriving at the start of next month, so here are all the details.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus India Launch Date
The company officially announced that the Infinix Smart 8 Plus will launch in India on 1st March 2024. This was revealed via a microsite that went live on Flipkart, a popular e-retailer in India. The teaser also confirmed that the Smart 8 Plus will be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast charging via a USB Type C port. To recall, the upcoming handset sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera and even features a Dynamic Island-like feature as well. Meanwhile, the rear packs a 50-megapixel dual camera setup that is paired with a quad LED flash module. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
Other notable features include a microSD card slot for storage expansion, Android 13 GO based XOS 13 custom skin, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner. Unfortunately, the pricing for this device is still unclear. Although, we do know that it will arrive in four color options, namely Timber Black, Galaxy White, and Shiny Gold.
