Lenovo has unveiled a new variant of the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 Intel Core Ultra Edition laptop, featuring an IPS screen, alongside the OLED version. Pre-orders starting from 5,599 yuan(~$778), the IPS version offers similar specifications to the original OLED version but with a different display technology. After the initial phase, the price will be 5,799 Yuan (~$805)

400 nits of brightness and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3

One of the highlights of the 2.8K IPS panel is its capability to offer vibrant visuals even in brighter environments with 400 nits of brightness and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut. Lenovo has also prioritized user comfort and eye health, as evidenced by the inclusion of dual Rheinland eye protection certification.

The Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 Core Edition is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor and is equipped with the Intel ARC core graphics card, promising a significant 2x performance boost and support for advanced features like ray tracing and XeSS. Additionally, the laptop features a new independent AI engine NPU, thanks to the Core Ultra CPU. It promises to enhance the AI capabilities of the device for various tasks.

Memory options include up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM clocked at 7467MT/s, with AI adaptive, high bandwidth, and low latency modes for optimized performance. Storage is ample, with dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 hard drive bays and a standard 1TB SSD.

Heat dissipation is managed by the Extreme Fengshen+ cooling system, featuring a high-performance 3D composite heat pipe and innovative keyboard cooling air duct design. The laptop’s battery life is equally impressive, thanks to the 84Wh Big Mac battery, providing up to approximately 25.2 hours of local video playback and around 10.38 hours of simulated daily usage.

In terms of connectivity, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 IPS version offers a versatile selection of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI, and an SD card reader. Furthermore, it comes bundled with a standard 100W three-pin mini gallium nitride fast charging adapter, ensuring convenient and rapid charging on the go.
