At MWC 2024, ZTE has introduced the Nubia Pad 3D II, which brings together 5G and AI technologies to offer a glasses-free 3D viewing experience. This new tablet offers many enhancements over its predecessor, the Nubia Pad 3D, like an 80% improvement in 3D resolution and twice the 3D brightness.
The brand claims that the device employs sophisticated AI processing and improved 3D display technology, along with unique liquid crystal lenses, to produce vivid and lifelike images. An AI-powered eye-tracking engine and an 86° wide viewing angle make the 3D experience smooth and accessible without the need for special glasses.
The Nubia Pad 3D II is equipped with Neovision 3D Anytime technology, which uses AI algorithms to convert 2D content into 3D in real-time. This allows users to view a variety of content, including photos, videos, games, and streaming media, in 3D with ease. The tablet also supports enhanced content creation, offering a wider range for 3D shooting and providing a platform for producing high-quality 3D content. It includes features for AI 3D multi-screen collaboration, which allows for the streaming of a smartphone’s display to the tablet and supports sharing between devices that use Miracast for a better 3D viewing experience.
Other than its 3D capabilities, the Nubia Pad 3D II is a performance powerhouse as it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It has a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The tablet also comes with quad speakers that offer DTS:X ultra immersive 3D sound effects, dual-mic noise reduction, and a 10000mAh battery with 66W fast charging for a comprehensive user experience. It also includes 5G technology for connectivity.
Currently, the brand has not revealed any details about the pricing or availability of this tablet.
