The Tecno Camon 30 series of smartphones is now official. The lineup includes the Camon 30 and Camon 30 5G, which are powered by the Helio G99 and Dimensity 7020 chipsets, respectively. The series also includes the Camon 30 Pro 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G, which are equipped with the more powerful Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. The entire lineup has been showcased at MWC 2024.

The Camon 30 Premier 5G and the Camon 30 Pro 5G feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. While the Pro model lacks support for LTPO, the Premier variant has support for it. The Premier model’s screen offers a 1.5K resolution of 1264 x 2780 pixels, whereas the Pro edition offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels.

Both smartphones feature the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. While the Camon 30 Pro 5G comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage, the Premier edition offers 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of native storage. The latter also offers up to 12 GB of virtual RAM.

The Camon 30 Premier and Camon 30 Pro 5G pack a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support. Both phones run on Android 14, which has a layer of HiOS 14 on top. In addition, they offer an IR blaster, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Camon 30 Premier and Pro models have a 50-megapixel camera with autofocus and a dual LED flash on the front. The two smartphones mainly differ in the rear camera department. Both phones have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. The Pro variant has a 2-megapixel depth sensor as the third camera on the back, whereas the Premier edition offers a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length and up to 60x hybrid zoom support. The Premier model also features Tecno’s PolarAce Imaging System, a dedicated ISP, that offers features like AI noise reduction for HDR videos, 4K Ultra Night Vision videos, and rendering accurate skin tones.
