Not long ago, Oppo introduced the Reno 11 series smartphone globally. However, rumors about the Reno 12 series have already started surfacing online. Adding to this, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the specifications of an upcoming smartphone, though without specifying its name.

The leaked specs are in line with previous leaks about the Oppo Reno 12 Pro, leading us to believe it might be the same device.

According to the tipster, the smartphone will sport a 6.7-inch display, retaining the curved screen design of its Reno 11 counterpart, along with the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, the device is expected to be powered by the Diemnsity 9200 chipset and will boast a 5,000mAh battery supporting 80W charging.

Camera-wise, the leak mentions a 50-megapixel front-facing camera and a rear triple camera system. The primary sensor is expected to be 50 megapixels, accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom.

While the leak closely aligns with previous information, there are slight discrepancies, particularly in charging specifications. Previous leaks hinted at 67W charging for the Reno 12 Pro, while this one suggests 80W. However, as these are early details about the device, it’s wise to approach them with caution.

It is expected to offer 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 256GB, along with the same display specifications as the Reno 12 Pro.

Regarding the launch, it’s expected that the Reno 12 smartphones will debut in June 2024. We’ll keep you updated on any new information about the device as it becomes available.
