Apple‘s next budget-friendly iPhone, the iPhone SE 4, has seemingly had its design revealed in CAD renders obtained by 91Mobiles. These images depict a significant departure from the previous iPhone SE models, embracing modern design elements like a larger notched display and a USB-C port.

The most striking change is the shift from a 4.7-inch LCD display with a home button to a larger 6.1-inch all-screen design with a notch. This notch is expected to house the TrueDepth camera system, enabling Face ID authentication for the first time in an iPhone SE model. The bezels are also noticeably slimmer, bringing the iPhone SE 4 into line with current smartphone trends.
Another major change is the adoption of a USB-C port, replacing the traditional Lightning port used by Apple devices for years. This aligns with the recent shift in the European Union, which mandated a universal USB-C charging port for all smartphones by 2024. While the iPhone 15 series embraced USB-C, the iPhone SE line remained on Lightning, so this is a welcome change for those seeking wider compatibility and faster charging capabilities.
The renders also suggest the iPhone SE 4 will retain a single rear camera, similar to its predecessors. While not explicitly shown, rumors suggest the inclusion of an “Action Button,” possibly a customizable shortcut key.
