Itel recently announced that it is gearing up to launch the Icon 2 smartwatch model in the Indian market soon. While the first teaser did not reveal any finer details or the launch date of the device, the company has officially unveiled the specs and sale date for the Itel Icon 2. So let’s have a look.
Itel Icon 2 Specs & Launch Date
To recall, the Icon 2 will be sold via Amazon India. Now, a dedicated microsite recently went live on the e-commerce platform, which revealed more details. The Icon 2 will launch with a 1.83-inch curved display, which is taller than the first Icon smartwatch’s 1.38-inch screen. Furthermore, the newer model also supports 550 nits of peak brightness and offers more than 150 watch faces for customization.
Similar to its predecessor, it comes with the Bluetooth Calling feature as well thanks to Bluetooth 5.3. The Itel Icon 2 seems to feature an Apple Watch-like squarish design over the first model’s circular screen and the teaser showcases a functional cron as well. The upcoming wearable will offer up to 30 days of standby battery and support over 10 sports modes. It will even support various health related trackers like SpO2 blood oxygen, sleep tracking, heart rate, and female menstrual cycle mapping.
This smartwatch will support AI voice assistant and offer camera and music controls. It even has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating as well. As per official notes, the Itel Icon 2 will launch in three color variants, namely Black, Blue, and Rose Gold. It is set to launch in India on 5th March 2024, so stick around for more updates.
