Nothing has officially confirmed that the Phone (2a) will be made in India. The company is gearing up to unveil the new smartphone soon, but ahead of its release, the Phone (2a)’s Indian manufacturing was announced.

Nothing Phone (2a) will be ‘Made in India’

The London based startup is turning to local manufacturing in the Indian market. This move will not only help create more jobs but enable the brand to grow its investment in the region. The upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) will be made in the manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, a State in South India. To recall, the Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) were also manufactured locally in the past.

Notably, Nothing Phone (2a)’s global launch will be held in India. The brand will set up a live stream for the announcement and also host an in-person event in New Delhi. Popular Indian Actor Ranveer Singh was also confirmed as the brand’s face for its products. For those unaware, the Nothing Phone (2a) is set to launch with a custom Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC that was co-developed with.

The company is gearing up to unveil the smartphone on 5th March 2024. Furthermore, its entire design was also recently revealed. The brand is even gearing up to unveil CMF Neckband Pro and CMF Buds as well, so stick around for more as we will be covering the launch event tomorrow.
