Eufy has announced the S1 Pro floor washing robot vacuum with an unusual mopping technology. The Eufy S1 Pro robot vacuum uses a roller mop and the model is scheduled for a Kickstarter campaign soon. The new mopping technology used in the S1 Pro will enable the robot to achieve greater cleaning capabilities. The gadget also has a self-cleaning dock and 3D MatrixEye Depth Perception.

Eufy S1 Pro Robot Vacuum

The Eufy S1 Pro floor washing robot was first showcased at IFA 2023 although with a different name. It was then known as the MACH R1 but the revised model comes with lots of innovation. It features a new mopping technology that drastically reduces the spread of dirt during cleaning operations. It uses a roller mop rather than the rotating pads that are seen in other models. The design allows the dirty water to be removed and replaced with fresh water from the onboard tank. The docking station helps to wash and dry the mop, as well as empty the onboard dustbin and dirty water tank. The Eco-Clean Ozone feature helps to sterilize the system during each cleaning job.

The Eufy S1 Pro floor washing robot has a touch panel on its docking station via which the device can be controlled. It also has a companion app – the EufyHome app. The robot is 96mm high and can easily fit under the household furniture. Eufy did not specify the suction power of the vacuum robot but this key detail could be available at the start of the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.

Pricing

The Kickstarter campaign will commence on March 28 while the model is priced at $699.99. Customers who sign up to the email list could enjoy up to 40% discount. Bonus accessory kits worth $200 will also be given.
