Realme is reportedly working on the Realme GT Neo 6 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. It is said that the lineup will include at least two smartphones powered by upcoming chipsets, such as the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to reveal the moniker of the Realme phone that will feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE in works

According to the leaker, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will come equipped with the SM7675 Qualcomm chip. This chip is expected to launch as the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 at some point this month.

The leaker claimed that this upcoming chip is based on TSMC’s N4 platform, which is also used in the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Like the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, which debuted in March 2023, the successor model is expected to consume less power and offer top-notch performance.

The Realme GT Neo 6 SE with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 will succeed last year’s GT Neo 5 5E, which came with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. As per a recent report, the device will be equipped with an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and it will support 100W charging. The other details of the device are yet to be revealed.

Rumors have claimed that the OnePlus Ace 3V, which is expected to launch this month in China, could be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. There is a possibility that the GT Neo 6 SE may debut soon after the Ace 3V within this month.

As far as the Realme GT Neo 6 is concerned, it is expected to feature the forthcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. As per reports, the device will have an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may arrive with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The other details of the device are yet to be revealed.
