Unveiling its official domestic name in China through a recent 3C certification, the Lenovo YOGA Air 14 laptop is gearing up for launch. Previously known as the Yoga Slim 7 / Lenovo Slim 7 in international markets, this mid-to-high-end thin and light notebook made its debut at CES 2024 and is expected to hit US store shelves in April, starting at $1,049.99 (approximately ¥7,560 yuan).

Carrying the sleek design lineage of recent YOGA series laptops, the Air 14 features a stamped aluminum alloy body and boasts Intel Evo certification, signifying its adherence to performance and thinness standards. Under the hood, users can choose between an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 7 155H processor, ensuring smooth performance for everyday tasks and demanding workloads alike. The memory options consist of 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x-7560 RAM, soldered directly to the motherboard for enhanced efficiency and a slimmer profile.

The visual experience is delivered through a 1920 x 1200 resolution OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. This panel boasts a peak brightness of 400 nits, offering ample visibility for various lighting conditions. The display is also available in a touch-enabled option for those who prefer a more interactive experience, with the touch version adding a slight weight increase of 0.04kg.

Powering the device is a 65Wh battery, paired with a 65W power adapter for efficient charging. The 1080p resolution webcam caters to video conferencing needs and incorporates infrared face recognition technology for secure logins. Additionally, the webcam features a physical privacy mask, offering users control over their camera access, and a ToF sensor, which can potentially enhance depth-sensing capabilities for applications like augmented reality.

Measuring 312 x 221 x 14.9 mm and weighing 1.39kg for the non-touch version and 1.43kg for the touch version, the laptop offers a balance of portability and functionality, making it a suitable choice for students, professionals, and content creators on the go.
