Recent reports have claimed that Oppo may soon announce the Oppo K12 as its first K-series phone of the year in China. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to confirm the key specifications of the device. In a newer Weibo post, the leaker has published a schematic of the Oppo K12 to reveal its design.

The Oppo K12 schematic shows that it has a punch-hole OLED panel on the front, which seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. On the back, it has two cameras and an LED flash placed on an elevated module at the top-left corner.

The K12’s schematic also shows the presence of an alert slider on the left side. The right edge of the phone features a volume rocker and a power key. It appears that the K12 will have a dual speaker system, with one most likely placed in the bottom edge, and the other one lodged in the top bezel.

Oppo K12 specifications (rumored)

The Oppo K12 rumors have revealed that it will feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel that produces a 1.5K resolution and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come equipped with pre-installed ColorOS 14-based Android 14.

On the front, it will feature a 16-megapixel camera and its rear shell will have a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. Under the hood, the device will have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.

There is no information about the battery size or charging capabilities of the phone. It appears that it may inherit the 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support from the Oppo K11, which debuted last year. To recall, the Oppo K11 5G and the OnePlus Ace 2V sported a similar design but packed different internals. It appears that Oppo will use the same strategy for the upcoming Oppo K12 and Ace 3V. A leaked image (shown below) of the Ace 3V showcases a camera module that’s quite similar to the above schematic. Therefore, it seems that the K12 and Ace 3V may have a similar appearance but different internals, as the latter is said to come equipped with the more powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.
