Motorola is set to launch a new smartphone in India soon. The company recently shared a fresh teaser that reveals an April 2024 launch event. While there is no official word on which device will be unveiled in the region, we assume that it will likely be the Moto Edge 50 Pro.
Moto Edge 50 Pro India Launch Date
In the latest teaser, the smartphone brand announced that it is gearing up to unveil the new smartphone in India in April 2024. As per official notes, the launch event will be held in New Delhi on April 3. To recall, the Edge 50 Pro is believed to be a rebranded Moto X50 Ultra, which is set to launch in China next month as well. Just last week, we covered a leak that revealed the key specs and renders of the upcoming smartphone.
The device is rumored to sport a tall 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that offers a 165Hz refresh rate on the front. Meanwhile, the rear features a triple camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra wide angle lens, and a telephoto shooter with 6x optical zoom. The main camera also supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and laser autofocus.
Under the hood, the Edge 50 Pro may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. A 4,500mAh battery pack powers this device, which also supports 125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The leaked renders confirmed faux leather rear panel and three color options, namely Black, White, and Purple.
