Yesterday a seemingly leaked official-looking poster revealed the launch date of the Vivo X Fold 3 series. It also hinted at standard and pro variants. Leaks and rumours have been revealing information about the upcoming foldables. Now the X Fold 3 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform revealing its hardware details.

Vivo X Fold 3 appears on Geekbench

The Vivo X Fold 3 is listed on the Geekbench database with model number V2303A. This is the same as the 3C certification that revealed support for 80W charging. The benchmarking platform mentions a motherboard codenamed ‘kalama’ and it comprises three cores clocked at 2.02GHz, four cores ticking at 2.80GHz, and one primary core at 3.19GHz. The setup corresponds to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This is in contrast to the rumoured Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the device. The listing also reveals 16GB RAM onboard but we can expect more options at launch. The foldable phone will ship with Android 14 OS out of the box.

In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Vivo X Fold 3 scores 2,008 and 5,490 points respectively. The benchmarking database does not reveal any additional details of the device.

The Vivo X Fold 3 has already bagged IMEI, China’s Radio Certification, MIIT, and 3C certifications. This suggests its imminent arrival. As for core specifications, the foldable phone is rumoured to feature a 6.53-inch external and 8.03-inch internal display with OLED panel and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The X Fold 3 is tipped to be backed by a 5,500mAh battery unit and have a 50MP triple rear camera setup.
