Huawei‘s upcoming fitness tracker, the Band 9, has been revealed in a new leak, giving us an early look at what’s to come before its official launch.

While Huawei teased the band with the promise of “a new era in wrist fashion and sleep feature enhancements,” the latest leaks suggest the Band 9 closely resembles its predecessor, the Band 8.

German publication WinFuture has revealed official-looking renders of the Huawei Band 9, and they tell a familiar story. The band sports a similar design to its predecessor, with a rectangular display, rounded corners, and a single side button.

Users can also expect to see a range of color options and different band styles for the fitness tracker. Reportedly, Huawei will offer the Band 9 in black, blue, white, yellow, and two shades of pink. The blue variant might offer a textile strap, while the other seems to be the regular silicon bands.

The similarities continue under the hood as well. According to the leak, the Huawei Band 9 will again feature a 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen display likely with a resolution of 368×194 pixels.

The battery capacity will also remain unchanged at 180mAh. And like previous iterations, the Band 9 is expected to feature 5 ATM water resistance and will connect to your smartphones via Bluetooth and WLAN.

Huawei appears to be keeping the pricing strategy consistent too, leak suggests the Band 9 will retail at 59 euros in Europe – the same as the Band 8.

As of now, Huawei has not announced the launch date or availability of the Band 9. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
