Tecno is set to release the Pova 6 series of smartphones soon. So far, we heard about the Pova 6 and Pova 6 Pro. But it appears that the lineup will also have a third model, which is dubbed the Tecno Pova 6 Neo. This device was just spotted in a major certification platform, so let’s have a look.
Tecno Pova 6 Neo visits Google Play Console
The smartphone brand’s upcoming Pova 6 Neo was spotted on the Google Play Console, carrying the TECNO LI6 model number. This listing reveals the front design of the smartphone as well as some of its key specifications. The device sports a flat screen with a center aligned punch hole cutout. Render shared on the database also revealed that the power button and volume rockers is situated on the right side.
The Google Play Console confirms that the screen has a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, with a 480 PPI pixel density. Furthermore, it appears that the Tecno Pova 6 Neo is equipped with the MT6789/CD processor, which is the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. To recall, this is the same processor that is equipped on the Tecno Spark 20 Pro model, which launched back in December 2023.
On the Pova 6 Neo, the MediaTek chip is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and runs on the Android 14 OS based HiOS 13 custom skin out of the box. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the Pova 6 Neo like its features and launch timeline are still unclear. So stuck around for more as we will be providing more updates.
