OnePlus has unveiled a new pair of affordable TWS earbuds alongside their OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone in the Chinese market – the OnePlus Buds V. These earphones are priced at just 149 Yuan (around $20) and are set to hit the shelves on March 25th. When purchased with Ace 3V, the earbuds can be grabbed for only 139 Yuan (around $19).

Coming to the specs, the Buds V features 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers, promising deep bass and clear audio across various genres. OnePlus touts a “Dolby Panoramic Sound” effect for an immersive listening experience, especially when paired with a OnePlus phone that supports Dolby Atmos.
The sound can be further customized with three preset sound modes – Balanced, Deep Bass, and Clear & Bright – or create personalized EQ settings through the companion HeyMelody app.
For clear calls, the Buds V uses dual microphones with AI-powered noise cancellation to filter out background noise and enhance your voice. The design is comfortable and secure, with a curved contour that fits snugly in the ear canal. Each earbud weighs a mere 4.3 grams, ensuring lightweight and comfortable wear for extended listening sessions.
Coming to the battery life, Buds V lasts up to 8 hours on a single charge and an impressive 38 hours total when combined with the charging case. A quick 1-hour charge provides 5 hours of playback, keeping you powered through commutes or workouts.
For connectivity, the earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3, offering a stable connection with a low latency of 94ms, ideal for watching videos or gaming. The charging case utilizes a Type-C port and can be easily paired with your smartphone via a pop-up window upon opening the case.
The earbuds are compatible with OnePlus phones running ColorOS 11/OxygenOS 11 and above, as well as Android phones with Android 7.0 and higher.
The earbuds also feature intuitive touch controls that allow users to manage playback, calls, and switch between tracks with simple taps on the earbuds. These controls include single tap for play/pause, double tap for next track, triple tap for previous track, and customized touch actions for additional convenience.
OnePlus Buds V boasts an IP55 dust and water resistance rating, making them suitable for workouts or running in light rain. They come in three stylish colors: Sandstone White, Interstellar Blue, and Shadow Black.
