Xiaomi made a lot of news after announcing HyperOS. Compared to MIUI 14, the HyperOS interface offers revamped system apps, some performance improvements and the Android 14 operating system. While users eagerly await HyperOS, a number of devices have already received the new update. Now the Xiaomi Pad 5 is receiving the HyperOS Global update. This update, which was first released to China, is gradually coming to other regions.
Xiaomi Pad 5 HyperOS update
The HyperOS update of the Xiaomi Pad 5 series was already released in China. Now this excellent tablet has started to receive the new update in the Global market. The HyperOS update has the build number OS1.0.1.0.TKXMIXM and is 1.6GB in size. Firstly available to Mi Pilots, HyperOS is expected to be available to all users in the coming weeks.
If any bugs are found, Xiaomi may roll back the update, which means it could be a long time before you get to experience the new HyperOS. Whatever happens, HyperOS looks great, and the update for the Pad 5 is unlikely to have any major bugs. That’s because the tablet received HyperOS based on Android 13. This will be the last major interface update for the Xiaomi Pad 5. After a certain period of time, the device manufacturer is expected to discontinue update support for the tablet.
