Samsung has quietly announced the refreshed Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) edition. It is listed on Samsung’s Romania website. The tablet arrives as the successor to the 2022 model. The original S6 Lite launched in 2020. The latest offering packs is the same as the previous edition except for a different processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has the same 10.6-inch screen surrounded by thick bezels. It offers a WUXGA resolution and the display is compatible with S-Pen. The device retains the same design with a single 8MP camera sensor on the rear. There is a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. The tablet is equipped with AKG-tuned dual speakers and support for Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor with 2.4GHz and 2GHz cores. Reports suggest that it is the Exynos 1280. The tablet is still offered on 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB and 128GB onboard storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage needs. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is backed by a 7,040mAh battery unit that is claimed to offer up to 14 hours of battery usage. Software-wise, the device runs on OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14 OS out of the box with Samsung DeX, Knox, and more.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is offered in both WiFi and LTE versions. It comes in Oxford Grey, Mint, and Chiffon Pink colour options. The pricing and availability of the tablet has not been revealed yet.
