Black Shark has unveiled a new pair of open-back earphones called OWS 700, featuring a comfortable, non-intrusive design, large drivers for superior sound quality, and a low-latency gaming mode.

The earphones boast a sleek design with a focus on comfort. They weigh just 9.0g per earbud and are made from medical-grade silicone, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit throughout extended wear. The open-back design allows users to stay aware of their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls.
Under the hood, the earphones pack a punch with 16.2mm drivers for rich, immersive audio. Black Shark touts the earphones’ ability to deliver high-fidelity listening without sound leakage.
For gamers, the Black Shark Open-Back Earphones come equipped with a low-latency gaming mode that reduces latency to a mere 0.06 seconds, keeping audio in sync with on-screen actions. This can provide a significant advantage in fast-paced games where split-second reactions are essential.
Battery life is rated at 6 hours for the earphones themselves, with an additional 18 hours of playback provided by the charging case, for a total of 24 hours. The earphones can be fast-charged in just 1.5 hours.
The Black Shark Open-Back Earphones also boast some interesting features like ENC noise reduction for clearer calls, a “Shark Sauce Voice Pack” with various voice reminders, and IPX4 water resistance.
For connectivity, the earphones are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring fast and stable connectivity for users. The earphones also feature intuitive touch controls for managing playback and calls; a single tap can play or pause music, and answer calls, while a double or triple tap navigates through tracks and adjusts the volume. Additionally, they support voice assistant activation and call rejection with a long press.
The Black Shark Open-Back Bluetooth Earphones are priced at 199 yuan (around $27) but are currently available for a launch price of 169 yuan (around $23).
