Xiaomi‘s gaming-oriented sub-brand Black Shark has been broadening its product range from smartphones and gaming accessories to include smartwatches. In December, it introduced the Black Shark S1 Pro and S1 Classic smartwatches for the global market. Their latest addition is the Black Shark GT3.
The GT3 features a 1.96-inch display, which is slightly curved in the middle like the Oppo Watch 4 Pro. The display offers a resolution of 410×502 pixels, using an AMOLED panel, and claims to offer 60Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness. It has a metallic case made of Zinc alloy, and it uses leather bands.
It is fitted with a 250mAh battery that lasts up to 10 days on a single charge. It also features Bluetooth calling and uses ENC (environmental noise canceling) to ensure clear call quality.
The watch has support for over 100 workout modes including cycling, walking, sprinting, HIIT, and CrossFit. It also has an IP68 waterproof rating, making it essentially waterproof up to 1.5 meters of depth.
Pricing & availability
The GT3 is now offered on AliExpress for $33.99. It is available in black and silver color options, with silicone and leather strap choices.
