However, analyst Ben Reitzes believes Apple might prioritize creating a platform for various AI apps from different developers.

Reitzes predicts Apple will showcase how users can purchase AI apps at WWDC. This new App Store could potentially include Apple’s own AI assistant (an upgraded Siri) alongside offerings from competitors.
The concept of an AI App Store isn’t entirely new. Other analysts have envisioned a similar model, suggesting Apple might hold internal discussions about it at WWDC.
There’s also speculation that Apple might have spoken with companies like Google and Baidu about adding their AI services to this potential App Store. Google’s Gemini AI, already available through a regular app, could easily fit within an AI-specific store.
