Lenovo has already launched the Thinkbook 14 laptop with Intel Core Ultra 5 in China, which went on sale in the country earlier this month for 4999 Yuan (~$695). Now both the Thinkbook 14/16 laptops are reaching the shelves with optional Ryzen 5-8645H and Ryzen 7-8845H CPUs.

As previously reported, the Lenovo Thinkbook 14 equips a 14″ 2.8K (2880 x 1800) IPS display with 400 nits brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color gamut rating. This 14’s laptop comes equipped with dual-cannel 1TB M.2 SSD and 16GB DDR5 RAM. The dual memory slots are expandable up to 64GB (32GB + 32GB) and the dual hard drive slots are also expandable up to 4TB.

It houses a 60Wh battery and supports fast charging of up to 50% in 30 minutes. It weighs 1.42kg and is 16.9mm thick. A special feature includes 180-degree opening and closing.

Speaking of the bigger 16″ version, a notable difference is in the display resolution or pixel density. Unlike the 14″ counterpart, it comes with a slightly lower 2.5K display with also a slightly lower 350 nits peak brightness and the same 90% screen to body ratio and 100% sRGB color gamut rating.

Due to its bigger size, it’s able to pack a larger 71Wh battery. This 16″ one weighs around 1.82kg and is of the same 16.9mm thickness as its smaller sibling. Both the laptops come with a portable 100W Type-C gallium nitride power adapter.
