The Poco C61 makes its debut in India as scheduled. It is the brand’s latest entry-level smartphone. The device succeeds the Poco C51 from last year.
The newly unveiled C61 is a rebadged Redmi A3 with a cheaper price tag. The product is more affordable than the original as it is sold exclusively online via Flipkart.
Some of its key highlights include a large high refresh rate display, a glass back, and a high-capacity battery.

The phone flaunts a 6.71-inch display with a dewdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The LCD panel has a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels (HD+), a 90Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits peak brightness level.
Under the hood, the handset houses a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. The chip is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.
The handset comes with a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of an 8MP primary sensor and a 0.08MP secondary sensor. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter.
For biometrics, the device uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. It has all the essential connectivity options, such as dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and GNSS.
As for software, the phone boots Android 14. Lastly, it draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging over USB Type-C.
Poco C61 Price in India
The Poco C61 carries the following price tags in India.
- 4GB + 64GB – ₹7,499 (~$90)
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹8,499 (~$100)
The product arrives in Diamond Dust Black, Ethereal Blue, and Mystical Green color options. It will be sold via Flipkart starting at 12 PM IST on March 28.
