The Chinese smartphone brand just officially confirmed that the Realme 12x 5G will be launched in the Indian market for under 12,000 INR (roughly 144 US Dollars). For this price tag, it is the thinnest device in its price tag measuring just 7.69mm in thickness. The teaser also confirmed that the Realme 12x 5G supports 45W wired fast charging. To recall, the handset is set to debut in the region on 2nd April 2024 at 12 PM IST.
Meanwhile, a fresh leak from Sudhanshu Ambhore shared the entire specs list of the smartphone. It will reportedly sport a 6.72-inch LCD panel that offers Full HD+ resolution, 950 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Realme 12x 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 2TB thanks to the microSD card slot.
The rear packs a 50-megapixel dual camera setup, while the front houses an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include Android 14 OS out of the box, IP54 water and dust resistance, and 188 grams of weight.
