Today Xiaomi added the Redmi Note 10 Pro / Max to the EOS (end-of-support) list. After that, the smartphone will not even receive any security patches. Redmi Note 10 Pro models normally had a chance to receive the HyperOS update, but due to unfortunate circumstances, this was completely forgotten. The Note 10 Pro Max has not received updates in India for a long time because it was thought that a motherboard problem could damage the device. So Xiaomi is trying to move away from the Note 10 Pro / Max. Of course, this applies to the Indian version of the product. This is not the situation with the global version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
Over time, many models will be added to the Xiaomi EOS list, so be careful if you are using a model that has not received a security update! Because the device manufacturer has officially stopped providing support and this has caused security vulnerabilities. If you want to have a more reliable experience, you can switch to one of the high-end Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO models.
