Acer‘s latest gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 16, is soon to be available in India. While the release date and price are yet to be announced, this laptop’s micro-site is already up on Amazon India.
Acer Predator Helios 16 specs:
The Helios 16 laptop comes with powerful hardware offering a 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU combo. The laptop supports up to 32 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz RAM. The biggest issue in gaming laptops is poor thermal management which leads to performance throttling. To counter that, Asus is using the Dual 5th Gen AeroBladeTM 3D fans, in combination with liquid metal thermal grease and vector heat pipes, which promise to provide maximized cooling.
Like many laptops launching this year, the Helios 16 also comes with AI features such as PurifiedVoice 2.0 and PurifiedView that help eliminate background noise during calls and improve the webcam settings, ensuring you look your best during video calls.
The keyboard has MagKey 3.0, which allows for swappable mechanical switches. It also comes with per-key RGB backlighting that will allow users to customize the look of their keyboards.
The laptop has abundant connectivity options, offering Killer DoubleShotTM Pro, the latest KillerTM Wi-Fi 7, ThunderboltTM 4 ports, and a microSD card reader. More information like display details, configurations, battery, etc is expected to be revealed in the coming days, so stay tuned.
