Skyworth, a leading player in the consumer electronics market, announced its A4E series of 4K TVs in China earlier this year, offering features that rival MiniLED technology at a fraction of the price.
Now the TVs are up for sale in China from JD.com. Available in sizes ranging from 55 inches to a whopping 85 inches, the A4E series caters to various living spaces and budgets.
The A4E lineup starts with the compact 55-inch model priced at a competitive 2099 yuan (around $290). It then scales up to 65 inches (2799 yuan, ~$387), 75 inches (3599 yuan, ~$498), and finally, a massive 85 inches for 5599 yuan (around $774).

Despite using an LCD panel, the A4E series boasts a high refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring smoother visuals during fast-paced content like sports and action movies. The 400 nits brightness delivers a clear picture, while the 130% sRGB color gamut promises vibrant and accurate colors. Additionally, a Delta E of less than 0.99 guarantees monitor-level color accuracy, reproducing lifelike images.
For extended viewing sessions, the A4E series incorporates quadruple hardware eye protection to minimize strain. MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology further enhances the experience by reducing motion blur. The TVs also support dual-language voice input/output for easy control.
Under the hood, the A4E series packs a punch with a combination of dual-core A55 and A75 processors. This is complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, ensuring smooth operation and ample space for apps and downloaded content. The TVs run on the Cool Open System 9.2, providing a user-friendly smart TV experience.
The audio experience is just as impressive as the visuals. Skyworth equips the A4E series with HiFi-grade dual-band speakers and an independent subwoofer, delivering a total of 50W of powerful sound.
The A4E series comes loaded with connectivity options, including HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0, and dual-band WiFi. This ensures the TVs can seamlessly handle modern streaming services, gaming consoles, and internet browsing needs.
