Oppo has just launched the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition in China and it’s now available for sale in the country for 7,499 yuan (~$1036). After releasing the product, the company has now made available the prices of its replacement parts.

Highlights of the phone

As the name suggests, this phone is special in terms of its capability to keep you connected. Even if you are lost or in trouble in a remote place, the satellite communication function on this phone enables you to call for help. It works by using radio waves to communicate directly with the satellite instead of utilizing the cell site. Not to mention. it requires some effort for the phone to achieve it. This phone also offers 5.5G support (also known as 5G-Advanced or 5GA), which reportedly enables download speeds of up to 10 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

Speaking of the other features of this phone, it’s very similar to the regular Find X7 Ultra that was launched back in January. The phone runs ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 and is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

The phone comes with a dual-telephoto camera system each of which has 50MP resolution and 65mm and 135mm focal lengths. The main camera, not to mention, equips an 1″ 50MP sensor. Yes, its a quad camera setup, with another 50MP sensor for ultrawide shots.

It offers a display that goes up to 1600 nits manually (manual peak brightness), 2600 nits automatically in direct sunlight (global peak brightness), and a whopping 4500 nits (local peak brightness) in certain scenarios like watching HDR content in a brightly lit condition.

The new Satellite Communication Edition of this phone comes with only 16GB+1TB storage and memory configuration.
